Happening this week in the WCC: "Storytelling Principles for Academic and Professional Communication" workshop and in-person and online writing groups. Find out more on the WCC website.


MIT Writing and Communication Center (WCC) provides free individual coaching in oral and written communication, offers free consultations to help MIT students and scholars with projects at any stage, as well as addresses concerns related to the writing process and public speaking.

To set up your meeting, follow these steps:

  1. Register for a WCOnline account by filling out a form on this page.
  2. Schedule a WCC appointment: log in, click on the available time in the schedule, and fill out the appointment form.
  3. We offer in-person and online sessions: choose the mode that works the best for you.
  4. You can book up to two sessions per week: if you need more sessions per week, you can ask the writing specialist during your second appointment.
  5. Join your session by Zoom using the link in your appointment or come in person to building E18-233, at 50 Ames St.
